Creating a Module from a Template

What is a Template?

A template can be one of two things: first, a module that has been created by the primary admin of the account which is intended to be used and/or customized by the editors on the account; second, a module that has been purchased from Deckspert, which can also be edited, translated, or otherwise customized for your own needs. You can access all your account’s templates by clicking the Templates tab on the Home Page.

Importing a Template

Let’s take the following scenario as an example: you’ve purchased the Barenteder modules along with your license, and now you want to make adjustments to the Gin Cocktails recipes for your own establishment.

  1. Open the Template menu on the upper right corner of the Template tile.

    The Template Options Menu
  2. Select “Copy to Modules.”

    Select Copy to Modules
  3. Navigate back to the Modules page (by clicking the Modules tab), and you will see the new module has been added.

Now you can click into the module and edit it just as you would any other module.

You will also see that the images from that template have been added to your Images Library. The categories attached to those images will also appear in your category options when you tag new images.
